Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced OpenText Exstream Architect to lead the design and architecture of enterprise Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will define technical strategy, oversee high-volume document generation systems, and ensure scalable, secure, and optimized Exstream implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead architecture and solution design using OpenText Exstream.
· Define enterprise CCM architecture, best practices, and governance standards.
· Design scalable, high-volume batch and real-time document generation solutions.
· Architect integrations with upstream/downstream systems (CRM, ERP, Data Warehouses, payment systems).
· Design data mapping strategies using XML, JSON, flat files, and relational databases.
· Optimize performance, throughput, and document rendering efficiency.
· Define template design standards and reusable component strategies.
· Guide and mentor Exstream developers; conduct design and code reviews.
· Lead migration or modernization initiatives (on-prem to cloud, platform upgrades).
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and branding standards.
· Provide production support oversight and performance troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications:
· 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in OpenText Exstream.
· Strong expertise in:
o Exstream Designer & Runtime Engine
o Complex template architecture
o Data modeling & transformation
o Output formats (PDF, AFP, PostScript)
· Experience designing enterprise-scale CCM solutions.
· Strong knowledge of performance tuning and batch processing optimization.
· Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
· Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
