Role: Power Apps Developer (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: New York City, (NY 10282), This would be a 3-4 day in-office hybrid position

Duration: Contract to hire role - an initial 9-month contract with the opportunity to convert to a full-time role

Power Apps Developer with good Investment Banking knowledge

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role builds custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and automates complex business workflows with Power Automate to streamline operations and eliminate repetitive tasks.
The developer manages data architecture within Microsoft Dataverse, ensures seamless integrations with internal and external systems through Custom Connectors and APIs, and follows Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices across development environments.
Working closely with the Solution Architect and cross-functional teams, the role ensures solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business requirements. Responsibilities also include performing testing, supporting deployments, and maintaining high standards of quality in Power Platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
• Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Manage and design data models within Microsoft Dataverse.
• Develop integrations using Custom Connectors and APIs.
• Implement ALM best practices across development, testing, and production environments.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are followed within the Power Platform.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience building conversational agents or virtual assistants using Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents).
• Familiarity with AI-powered automation and chatbot integrations within the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems for source code management and collaborative development.
