Summary

American Computer Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support PMO functions and key business stakeholders. This role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating projects ranging from small-scale initiatives to complex rollouts.

Attention to detail is a MUST, as well as exceptional organization and efficiency skills.

Work Location:

  • Hybrid preferred On-site 3 days a week (Cedar Rapids, IA, Philadelphia, PA, Denver, CO, or Baltimore, MD).
  • Remote for the right fit Must currently reside in the U.S.

To Be Successful, you will have:

  • Experience as a Project Coordinator handling multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within the insurance and/or financial service industry.
  • Experience managing competing priorities.
  • Experience assisting Project Managers to create comprehensive project schedules and weekly status reports.
  • Experience updating weekly status reports, project schedules, and RAID logs in the system.
  • Experience coordinating and documenting go-to-market activities.
  • Experience adapting project scope or timelines for optimal results.
  • Experience conducting internal interviews to help define project scope and business requirements.
  • Experience coordinating and facilitating both small and large group meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Experience utilizing project management tools and platforms.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
  • Experience assisting in research and analysis for select projects.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and "own" processes without constant supervision.

Soft Skills

  • A proven self-starter who can work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
