Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP BTP Consultant with over 15 years of expertise in the SAP ecosystem to join a strategic project. The ideal candidate will be a visionary architect and hands-on developer dedicated to implementing "Clean Core" principles. You will be responsible for shifting custom developments away from the ERP core and onto the SAP Business Technology Platform to ensure seamless future upgrades and a robust digital core.

Key Responsibilities
Architectural Strategy: Define and implement side-by-side extensibility strategies using SAP BTP to maintain a "Clean Core" in S/4HANA environments.

Development & Integration: Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

Governance: Establish best practices for BTP sub-account structures, security configurations, and resource management.

Legacy Transformation: Analyze existing on-stack enhancements and develop migration paths to move them to BTP.

Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers on modern SAP development standards.

Technical Qualifications
SAP BTP Core: Deep expertise in SAP BTP services, including Business Application Studio, Event Mesh, Connectivity Service, and Destination Service.

Clean Core Methodology: Proven track record of implementing side-by-side extensibility and decoupled architectures.

Programming Models: Proficiency in Node.js/Java (CAP) or ABAP Cloud (RAP).

Integration: Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration) and API Management.

Data & Analytics: Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Datasphere is highly preferred.

DevOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing within the SAP BTP environment.

Professional Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 15 years in SAP consulting/development with a recent focus on BTP.

Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to articulate technical debt risks to business leaders.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Retail, Fashion, or Supply Chain business processes is a significant plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
