Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications while resolving production issues and implementing system enhancements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, database, and integration issues to ensure system stability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and support application maintenance following software development best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
5–8 years of experience in Java application development, SQL programming, web services, application maintenance, production support, and enterprise software development.

Technical Skills
|
Java, SQL, Web Services, REST APIs, Application Development, Database Programming, Application Support, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Business / Domain Skills
|

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of healthcare or government systems, business processes, and eligibility management is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot application issues and deliver system enhancements.
