About the Role

We are looking for a curious and driven Junior Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. You will work closely with senior data scientists and business stakeholders to extract insights from complex datasets, build predictive models, and help drive data-informed decisions across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Develop and validate machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations
  • Monitor and maintain deployed models, tracking performance metrics and flagging degradation
  • Write clean, well-documented code and contribute to internal data science libraries and pipelines
  • Support A/B testing design and analysis

Required Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in a data science or analytics role
  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib/seaborn) and SQL
  • Solid understanding of ML fundamentals — supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, cross-validation
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Familiarity with version control using Git
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure) and ML services
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch)
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and model deployment (MLflow, Docker, etc.)
  • Exposure to big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
