Senior Workday Financial Analyst

Job Title: Senior Workday Financial Analyst (Workday Financials Certification is mandatory)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Financial Analyst with strong expertise in Workday Financials to support and enhance enterprise financial systems. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Workday Financial modules, business process configuration, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.

Required Skills:.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials.
• Workday Financials Certification is mandatory.
• Strong experience in configuring and supporting Workday Financial modules.
• Experience with the following Workday Financial modules:
  • Financial Accounting
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Procurement
  • Expenses
  • Asset Management
  • Banking & Settlement
• Strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
• Ability to configure, test, and deploy Workday solutions.
• Experience with Workday reporting, calculated fields, and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with EIBs, integrations, and data conversions.
• Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements, and production support activities.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills are preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Configure and maintain Workday Financial applications and business processes.
• Design, develop, and support Workday reports and dashboards.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot Workday Financial issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Document business processes, functional specifications, and system changes.
• Recommend process improvements and best practices within Workday Financials.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience in large enterprise environments.
• Additional Workday certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics or Workday Adaptive Planning is preferred.

Location Preference: Candidates local to New Jersey, Tampa (FL), or Raleigh (NC) are highly preferred.
