Job Description
We are seeking a Data Scientist V to join our team on a temporary engagement supporting analytics and data-driven decision-making for cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Python, statistics, experimentation, and operations research and a proven ability to deliver insights, develop measurement frameworks, and inform product and business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and key drivers of outcomes.
- Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B tests, and define KPIs and measurement frameworks.
- Build and maintain reproducible analyses, dashboards, and reporting for ongoing monitoring.
- Develop statistical and operations research models for planning, forecasting, optimization, and prioritization.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and present results in clear, actionable narratives.
- Ensure data quality through validation, documentation, and explicit assumptions in analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL for extracting, transforming, and analyzing large-scale data.
- Proficiency in Python for data wrangling, statistical analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Strong foundation in statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, inference, and experimental design.
- Knowledge of operations research techniques such as optimization, simulation, and decision analysis with applied experience.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences and influence decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver within timelines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience building reproducible analytics and dashboards with modern BI tools.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in product or operations domains.
