[Cloud / Platform Systems Specialist] Overview

Support senior team members in delivering cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives

Lead efforts to modernize IT infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments

Enhance scalability, efficiency, and reliability of enterprise systems

Support transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms

Implement cloud-centric administrative and engineering practices

Improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes through automation

Enable scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise goals

Collaborate across teams to support hybrid cloud adoption and optimization

Provide technical expertise in AWS environments and hybrid architecture design

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience

5+ years of experience in AWS cloud services including EC2, VPC, IAM, and S3

Strong experience designing and supporting hybrid cloud environments

Experience with AWS IAM and role-based access control (RBAC)

Experience migrating legacy systems to AWS

Strong understanding of infrastructure design, networking, and system dependencies

Experience troubleshooting complex cloud and hybrid infrastructure issues

Knowledge of performance monitoring, optimization, and root cause analysis

Experience implementing backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform

Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments

Strong documentation skills including architecture diagrams and operational procedures

Understanding of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments (FinOps)
