Integration Engineer Architect

Introduction

The Integration Engineer Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale integrations within the organization. This role will require hands-on experience with various technologies such as IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, message flows, ESQL/JavaCompute, and API design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale integrations using IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, message flows, ESQL/JavaCompute.
• Handle error handling and performance tuning for integration processes.
• Design APIs following REST/JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger standards while ensuring backward compatibility.
• Develop Java microservices using technologies like Spring Boot.
• Work on MongoDB for schema design, indexing, and sharding basics, along with understanding RDBMS fundamentals.
• Implement cloud-native design on platforms like Azure/Google Cloud Platform, utilizing PaaS services, containers, AKS/GKE, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 8–15 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in integration architecture/engineering.
• Hands-on experience with IIB/ACE, IBM MQ, message flows, ESQL/JavaCompute, error handling, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in API design including REST/JSON, OpenAPI/Swagger, API lifecycle, and backward compatibility.
• Experience with Java microservices (Spring Boot), MongoDB, and RDBMS fundamentals.
• Knowledge of cloud-native design on Azure/Google Cloud Platform, including PaaS services, containers, AKS/GKE, and CI/CD.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with protocols & formats such as HTTP/S, TLS, JSON/XML, SOAP, JWT/JWKS, and integration patterns like synchronoasync, pub-sub, saga/compensation.
