Business Development Manager — Software Services

InfoStride is a software development and technology services firm headquartered in Austin, Texas, with offices and engineering teams across the United States and India. We build custom applications, modernise legacy systems, deliver data and AI platforms, and run dedicated engineering teams for clients in the commercial and public sectors — including state and county government programmes where delivery is measured in public accountability, not just uptime.We are expanding our commercial team and looking for a Business Development Manager to lead new business for our software services practice.The roleYou will own new client acquisition and account growth for our software engineering services. This is a senior individual contributor position: you carry the number, you shape the territory, and you work directly with our delivery leadership on what gets sold and how it gets built.Open and win new accounts across application development, modernisation and cloud, data and AI, and dedicated engineering teamsExpand existing client relationships into new business units and new categories of workLead the full cycle — qualification, discovery, solution shaping with our architects, commercial negotiation and closePartner with delivery leadership to scope engagements that are profitable and deliverableRepresent InfoStride credibly with CIOs, CTOs, engineering leadership and procurementWhat you bringA proven record selling software development and technology services, with the numbers to evidence itAn established network in the technology buying community, and the standing to secure the first meeting on your own nameCommercial and technical fluency — you can hold a conversation about a modernisation roadmap, and you know how to price and structure the work that followsExperience with multi-location delivery models and the discipline that makes them workBased in the Austin area or relocating.
