Value Realization Office (VRO) Lead Transformation Programs
Role Purpose
The Value Realization Office (VRO) Lead is responsible for partnering with client CXOs to define, govern, and deliver a portfolio of transformation programs and business cases. The role ensures measurable business value realization through process mining driven insights, value engineering, and execution of automation, AI, and RPA initiatives. This is a strategic leadership role focused on bridging strategy to execution, institutionalizing value tracking, and driving accountable outcomes across enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. CXO Advisory & Value Strategy
Partner with C-suite leaders (CFO, COO, CIO, CDO) to define enterprise-wide value realization strategy and roadmap
Establish a Value Realization Office (VRO) governance model including operating cadence, reporting, and decision frameworks
Translate strategic priorities into quantified business cases aligned to financial and operational KPIs
Act as a trusted advisor on process transformation, AI adoption, and automation investments
2. Transformation Portfolio Management
Govern a portfolio of transformation programs across:
Process optimization
AI/ML initiatives
RPA/hyperautomation
Digital and ERP-led transformations
Prioritize initiatives based on value, feasibility, and strategic alignment
Track dependencies, risks, and interlocks across programs
Drive stage-gate governance for initiative approval, funding, and execution
3. Business Case Development
Ensure with Value Engineers are strategically aligned in the preparation of the value-engineered business cases including key levers and enablers like:
Process Mining insights (e.g., inefficiencies, bottlenecks, variants)
Benchmarking and industry best practices
Baseline metrics
Benefit hypotheses (cost, revenue, experience, compliance)
Implementation effort, risks, and timelines
Value trees and benefit maps linking initiatives to enterprise objectives
Establish financial models including ROI, NPV, payback, and benefit attribution
4. Value Tracking & Realization
Define and implement value tracking frameworks:
Benefit realization KPIs
Value leakage identification
Outcome-based dashboards
Ensure traceability from business case to realized outcomes
Lead periodic value realization reviews with CXOs
Validate realized benefits in collaboration with Finance and Business teams
Establish a closed-loop model from insights execution value tracking
Align automation and AI use cases and initiatives with value realization targets
Partner with delivery teams to ensure:
Timely execution
Outcome-based delivery models
Embed continuous improvement and automation-first mindset
6. Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Establish executive dashboards and value realization reports
Lead monthly/quarterly value steering committees
Communicate program health, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
Collaborate across Finance, IT, Operations, and external partners

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
Experience
18+ years in consulting, transformation, or value realization roles
Proven experience working with CXO stakeholders in large enterprises (US market preferred)
Strong background in:
Process Transformation / Process Mining
Automation (RPA, AI/ML)
Digital/ERP transformation programs
Demonstrated track record in building and tracking business cases and realized benefits
