Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Appian Architect to design, architect, and deliver scalable business process management and workflow solutions using the Appian platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Appian experience, enterprise architecture skills, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical leadership.

The Appian Architect will be responsible for defining solution architecture, establishing development standards, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring that Appian solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and integration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise-grade applications and workflows using the Appian platform.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable Appian technical solutions.
• Define application architecture, data models, process models, interfaces, integrations, and security strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Appian developers and engineering teams.
• Develop and enforce Appian development standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks.
• Design integrations between Appian and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, databases, and other integration technologies.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
• Review technical designs and code to ensure scalability, maintainability, performance, and adherence to Appian best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, DevOps, data, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes across Appian environments.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and solution design sessions.
• Provide estimates, technical assessments, and recommendations for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Stay current with Appian platform capabilities, releases, and emerging automation.
