The VDC Engineer is a multidisciplinary role blending technical BIM/VDC expertise with creativity and problem-solving. You'll support preconstruction and project teams through modeling, coordination, constructability reviews, and 4D visualization, helping drive efficiency and innovation across the project lifecycle.

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and support BIM/VDC coordination efforts across projects
- Create and manage 3D models, site logistics plans, and construction sequencing (4D)
- Perform constructability reviews and model QA/QC
- Support estimating teams with model-based takeoffs and visualizations
- Develop animations and graphics for presentations and project pursuits
- Collaborate with field teams to align models with real-world execution
- Assist with laser scanning and point cloud modeling
- Maintain and enforce VDC standards across projects
- Train internal teams on VDC tools and workflows
Qualifications
- Experience in construction, design, or VDC/BIM
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp
- Experience with MEP coordination and design collaboration
- Strong understanding of construction documents, RFIs, and submittals
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Interest in emerging construction technologies
