Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Executive Reporting, including building executive dashboards, KPI reporting, and self-service BI solutions.
- 4+ years of experience with Cloud or Hybrid Data Platforms, including cloud modernization or hybrid implementations.
- 2+ years of experience in Data Migration and Modernization, including planning, executing, and validating migrations across on-premises and cloud environments.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and Lakehouse Design using Star/Snowflake schemas and fact/dimension modeling.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and/or Data Analyst.
- 5+ years of experience in Python (including PySpark) and SQL applied to developing and optimizing enterprise-grade ETL/ELT workflows in large-scale cloud environments.
- 4+ years of experience with ETL processes and tools, including hands-on experience designing and implementing data pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across on-premises and cloud platforms including Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data models, including dimensional models such as star and snowflake schemas.
- Integrate data from various sources including relational databases, NoSQL platforms, APIs, and files using AI-enabled integration techniques.
- Enhance ETL/ELT processes through optimization, automation, and performance tuning to support high-volume data processing.
- Develop and operate end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as SSIS, Azure/Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows, and Notebooks.
- Automate data pipeline deployment and operations through CI/CD practices, including automated testing and release management.
- Support the management and governance of enterprise data platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and security controls.
- Partner with architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions and prepare curated data marts.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical methods, DAX, Python, and R.
- Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports leveraging DAX for calculated columns and measures.
- Build predictive or descriptive models using statistical, Python, or R-based machine learning methods.
- Present findings to non-technical audiences in clear, actionable terms.
- Deliver analytics solutions iteratively in an Agile environment and mentor teams to enhance analytics fluency.
- Provide data-driven analysis, visualizations, and AI-enabled insights to support strategic initiatives.
Nice to Have:
- 1+ years of experience in AI-Assisted Development Tools and Practices to improve productivity and code quality.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code for cloud-based data platforms.
- 1+ years of experience in modern data technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Spark, or Delta Lake.
- 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale public service applications in public sector or mixed delivery environments.
