Role Overview
A dedicated Senior Data Engineer is required to design and implement an end-to-end data pipeline framework. This role will establish Snowflake data models, automate file ingestion processes, create data quality and reconciliation controls, and deliver scalable solutions supporting workflow applications, operational reporting, and compliance requirements. This position is critical for achieving project deployment targets and reducing implementation risks associated with complex data integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated ingestion pipelines for Excel, CSV, and structured source files.
- Implement Snowpipe and Snowpipe Streaming solutions for real-time and batch processing.
- Configure external stages and ingestion frameworks utilizing AWS S3 and Snowflake.
- Develop scalable ELT/ETL solutions using Python, Talend, or Informatica IDMC.
- Design Raw, Curated, Workflow, Audit, and Reporting layers within Snowflake.
- Develop stored procedures, tasks, streams, and orchestration workflows.
- Implement file-level auditing, reconciliation controls, and data validation frameworks.
- Design dimensional, relational, and reporting data models.
- Implement source-to-target mapping documentation and create automated data quality controls.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Advanced Snowflake Data Engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Snowpipe, Snowpipe Streaming, Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, and Stages.
- Python Development.
- SQL Development and Performance Tuning.
- AWS S3 Integration.
- Data Modeling (Dimensional and Relational).
- ETL/ELT Development.
- Experience with Data Quality Frameworks.
- Source-to-Target Mapping.
- CI/CD and DevOps Practices.
- Bachelor's degree
Integration Platforms:Expertise in one or more of the following is required:
- Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
- Talend Data Integration
- Python-based data engineering frameworks
