Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Draper, Utah. In this role, you will take ownership of the software development lifecycle, designing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and drive operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor entry-level developers, and contribute to strategic technical initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement complex software solutions that align with business objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of applications and systems.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to create user-friendly features and interfaces.
Drive improvements in application reliability, availability, and performance.
Develop and maintain APIs and services using RESTful or GraphQL architectures.
Optimize cloud-based solutions on platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
Advocate for and apply best practices in software development, including microservices architectures.
Participate in technical roadmap discussions, contributing to long-term strategic planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 7 years of experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React.js and Redux.
Expertise in back-end technologies like Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Express.js.
Familiarity with TypeScript and JavaScript programming languages.
Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Proven ability to design scalable and secure systems that optimize performance.
Knowledge of architecture patterns, including microservices and event-driven systems.
