Position: Android Mobile Developer

Location: Remote - Jackson, MS

Duration: 4 Months plus

Job Description:

applications for an Android Mobile Developer. The successful candidate provides assessment and programming support to the analytic staff in modeling, designing, developing, coding, maintaining, and testing of modern, data intensive mobile applications. 

Required skills

·        Software development with a focus on Object Oriented Analysis and Design 

·        Java, Kotlin for Android development and Android SDK 

·        REST, Graph-QL, JSON 

·        Unit tests and Bug Fixing 

·        Understanding of OOP 

·        Knowledge of architecture patterns: MVC, MVP, etc 

·        Development tools: Android Studio 

·        Testing tools: Espresso, Postman 

·        Ability to work accurately with a legacy code 

·        Ability to organize and delegate work to the team.

Preferred skills

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area from an accredited institution and one year of experience dealing with designing, developing, testing and deploying production grade applications, familiarity with Android frameworks, familiarity with multiple package managers such as Cocoa Pods, Carthage and Swift Package Manager. Successful candidates will have a good attention to detail, a desire to build good products for users, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
