KEYS: Nuclear Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience; NSSS (Nuclear Steam Supply System); ALWR (Advanced Light Water Reactor); ASME BPVC (Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code), Section III; ASME NQA-1; CAD Models; ASME Y14 Engineering Drawings.

Commits to the understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and ASME NQA-1.

A professional engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of full-time relevant working experience is required.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience with engineering design, including personal accountability for design decisions.
Thorough understanding of engineering drawings per ASME Y14 is strongly preferred.
Design experience with commercial nuclear components or BPVC Section III is strongly preferred.
ASME Design Specification Certifying Engineer experience is preferred.
Familiarity with stress engineering analysis (design by analysis methodology) is preferred.

Industry Requirements:

Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
