We develop integrations with Susquehanna's global trading platforms and strategies, delivering an educational ecosystem that simulates real-world trading environments and supports continuous quantitative learning.

As a Software Engineer on the EdTech team, you'll design, develop, and maintain large-scale systems that power our mock trading and quantitative education platforms. You'll have the opportunity to shape system architecture, implement robust integrations, and create innovative tools that enhance the training experience for our traders and quantitative researchers worldwide.

We're looking for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment-someone who can think on their feet, independently drive projects from concept to deployment, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver impactful solutions all while keeping an open and flexible mind.

What You'll Do:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems, services, and applications supporting global educational and mock trading platforms.
  • Collaborate with trading, quant, AI/ML teams to build integrations with live and simulated trading systems, build targeted training platform, and dive into our production systems.
  • Architect efficient data structures and algorithms to support performance-critical applications.
  • Contribute to system design and strategic technology decisions.
  • Support and improve our global infrastructure and environments.

What we're looking for

  • Strong programming and system design skills in an object-oriented language (C#, Java, or similar).
  • 6+ years of experience
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
  • Experience managing and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Python proficiency is preferred.
  • A highly collaborative, open, explorative minset.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges while maintaining flexibility for rapidly changing priorities.
