Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled SDET Test Automation Tester with expertise in Java, Playwright, API, and CI/CD to join our team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and other relevant tools
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans
• Execute test cases and report defects in a timely and accurate manner
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and best practices
• Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) process
• Perform mobile testing on iOS and Android platforms
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as an SDET or similar role
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation
• Strong understanding of API testing and integration
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Experience in mobile testing on iOS and Android platforms

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript for test automation
• Knowledge of other programming languages and automation tools
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field
