One of our client is looking for a Cloud Architect @ NYC- Contract ONSITE LOCAL

Job Description:

Multi-Cloud Architecture Design

• Architect and implement secure, enterprise-grade multi-cloud landing zones across AWS and Azure (Google Cloud Platform is a plus), ensuring strict alignment with CIS benchmarks and corporate security policies.
• Design and deploy complex hybrid connectivity solutions such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, SD-WAN, and high-throughput VPN meshes to seamlessly connect legacy on-premises data centers with cloud environments.
• Establish scalable IAM hierarchies, cross-account trust relationships, and organizational units across multiple cloud tenants.

Infrastructure Resiliency & Disaster Recovery (DR)

• Architect high-availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) topologies across multiple cloud providers to eliminate single points of failure (e.g., active-active cross-cloud replication).
• Develop, document, and test automated failover mechanisms for critical enterprise workloads to ensure minimal or zero downtime.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Define, build, and maintain the company s Infrastructure as Code (IaC) repository using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Implement secure CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions, embedded with automated security guardrails and static analysis tools.

Technical Advisory & Collaboration

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on cloud infrastructure for the Cyber Security team, translating security objectives into secure cloud configurations.
• Collaborate with on-premises network and system administration teams to migrate or extend legacy workloads to the cloud without disrupting active operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and deploying IT infrastructure within Fortune 500 or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, Multi-Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, Automation, and Security.
• Advanced proficiency with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA CCM).
• Experience with modern identity and authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and JIT Access.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
• AWS Certified Security Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Azure Security Engineer Associate
• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
