Role: Validation Test Engineer (ICE)

Position Overview Validation Test Engineer (ICE)
New role supporting Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) programs
Validation Test Engineer focused on ICE engine testing and development
Role is development-focused, ideal for someone continuing to build hands-on validation experience
Responsibilities
Execute engine validation testing using engine dynos
Run a standardized test suite on test engines (limited test variation)
Perform basic troubleshooting related to ICE engines and test results
Validation focus is ensuring engines/vehicles are operating and performing as expected ("rolling well")
Less autonomy than senior validation roles, but still requires accountability and attention to detail
Primary responsibility is running ~4 core test types consistently and accurately
Required / Desired Background
ICE experience required (hands-on engine exposure strongly preferred)
Candidates with Formula SAE background are a strong fit
Mechanical Engineering degree not required
Looking for someone with more tenured, hands-on experience, not entry-level only

Transitions to 3rd shift Validation Engineer
Sunday night 11:00 PM Friday morning 6:00 AM
