Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Healthcare Manager to lead the quality assurance team in ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of healthcare applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in healthcare software testing, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, CMS, FDA), test automation, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring efficient testing strategies for healthcare applications.
  • Develop and implement QA processes, best practices, and automation frameworks.
  • Oversee testing for payer systems, claims processing, interoperability (HL7, FHIR), and compliance validation.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to align QA strategies with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, FDA, ONC, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Define and track quality metrics (defect density, test coverage, automation ROI, etc.).
  • Lead manual, automation, performance, security, and UAT testing efforts.
  • Oversee API testing (Postman, SOAP UI, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile testing practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party software quality compliance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to QA team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • MUST HAVE: HEALTHCARE PAYER EXPERIENCE
  • Strong background in healthcare domain testing (MMIS, payer, provider, claims, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, X12 EDI, etc.).
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit).
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare applications (Facets, QNXT, HealthEdge, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with MMIS
  • Proficiency in SQL, database testing, and API validation.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps testing methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based healthcare solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML in healthcare testing.

Certifications: ISTQB, CSTE, Certified HL7 Specialist, SAFe Agile, or Six Sigma.
