Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Web Designer.
MUST LIVE IN THE STATE OF WISCONSIN.
This position will be the primary resource for converting the existing external web pages from the native language to a new to DWD solution, Drupal. This position will also participate in department planning efforts and direct web page conversion from existing pages.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
1. Experience working in Drupal, with a specific focus on content migration to Drupal. (5 yrs)
2. Excellent communication skills as this resource may need to work with staff within the agency on the content. (5 yrs)
3. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines to meet the delivery needs of the project. (5 yrs)
Nice to Have Skills:
1. Experience with user experience web content design (e.g., experiences in best practices for organizing web site materials to improve user experience)
2. Previous work experience in large agency/environment
The contractor will be required to be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must be available to attend all scheduled meetings during standard working hours of 7.45 am - 4.30 pm Central Time. Supervisor can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice.
Our client prefers that the selected contract resource resides in greater Madison area. Contractor must be available to work onsite in Madison, WI headquarters GEF-1 location at manager's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses
