Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on building and enhancing customer-facing support solutions. This role involves developing scalable applications and tools that improve user experience across multiple support channels.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain web applications using modern technologies
* Translate business and product requirements into high-quality, production-ready code
* Integrate and work with third-party APIs to enhance system functionality
* Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and data teams to deliver solutions
* Break down complex features into manageable components for efficient delivery
* Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong experience with backend and frontend development (e.g., PHP, React, TypeScript or similar)
* Experience working with APIs and external integrations
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
