About the RoleIn this contingent role, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions across moderately complex engineering initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, analyze technical challenges, and support the implementation of scalable, high-quality systems. This role requires strong full-stack development capabilities, the ability to work through diverse technical problems, and a solid understanding of engineering best practices, policies, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities- Participate in the planning and execution of software engineering deliverables for moderately complex initiatives.
- Review, evaluate, and solve engineering challenges involving multiple variable factors.
- Collaborate closely with client software engineering teams to support project goals and technical alignment.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code across both front-end and back-end systems.
- Build, test, and deploy features as part of a continuous delivery environment.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable releases.
- Create unit and integration tests to support system stability and maintainability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with emerging technologies and recommending enhancements.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation including architecture, technical specifications, and user guides.
Minimum Qualifications- 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent combination of professional, consulting, military, or academic experience.
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proficiency in Java and experience with modern frameworks such as Spring, React, or Angular.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience using testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications- Hands-on experience with GenAI or AI-driven development tools.
- Experience working with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
