We are looking for Salesforce Tech Lead for our client in New York City, NY
Job Title: Salesforce Tech Lead
Job Location: New York City, NY
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Salesforce components including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and integration services in line with established development standards.
  • Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, flows, approval processes, validation rules, page layouts, and security models to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST and SOAP based services, middleware platforms, or API frameworks.
  • Support testing cycles by resolving defects and validating end to end user journeys.
  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of Salesforce applications in compliance with platform best practices and organizational guidelines.
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work within Agile delivery frameworks, provide regular status updates, identify risks early, and propose mitigation actions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Hands on experience in Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and asynchronous processing models.
  • Strong experience in Salesforce configuration, including data models, flows, security settings, and automation.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Clouds relevant to Financial Services, such as Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Understanding of insurance processes including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, agent operations, and customer servicing workflows.
  • Experience with API integrations, authentication protocols, and common integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git based version control, secure coding standards, and deployment automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Administrator, or Consultant are preferred.
  • Prior experience in Financial Services and Insurance or other regulated enterprise environments is an added advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality outcomes.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with clients and contributing to solution design discussions.
