Description
We are looking for a skilled SQL BI Developer with expertise in EDI to join our team in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a manufacturing environment by developing business intelligence solutions and fostering strong vendor and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards with a focus on design and usability.
Communicate with vendors and clients to address technical and operational needs.
Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.
Provide outstanding customer service by proactively addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
Utilize EDI expertise to support data exchange processes and troubleshoot related challenges.
Work with SQL Server Business Intelligence tools to analyze and present data.
Assist in creating and implementing business intelligence solutions tailored to organizational goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of reports and solutions in alignment with project timelines.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.
Solid understanding of SQL Server Business Intelligence and EDI processes.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client and vendor relationships.
Experience in gathering requirements and translating them into actionable solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
