Job Summary
Seeking a high-performing Payroll professional to fill a Payroll Service Delivery Analyst role. In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will partner and collaborate with managers and team members to achieve organizational objectives while applying payroll solutions in a proactive manner. The ability to build relationships, exercise sound judgment, and work across multiple time zones in a global environment is critical to success in this role.
Under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor and Payroll Manager, the Payroll Service Delivery Analyst will ensure accurate processing and recording of payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, perform daily data entry, and support continuous process improvement through documentation and procedure development.
This role requires a knowledgeable payroll analyst who will manage all processes relating to payroll and benefits in U.S. and foreign currencies. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, accurate with numbers, and capable of handling sensitive and confidential information. Payroll is processed for employees across various employment classifications. Responsibilities include balancing payroll, documenting wage-related transactions (hourly pay, premiums, bonuses, reimbursements, and credits), maintaining employee compensation records, generating payroll reports, resolving payroll discrepancies, and utilizing multiple payroll systems and software applications.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees.
Understand all aspects of payroll, including applicable payroll laws and regulations.
Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time.
Provide excellent customer service regarding compensation, taxes, timekeeping, and leave requests.
Support management in improving payroll processes.
Educate team members on payroll, timekeeping policies, procedures, and best practices.
Perform daily payroll operations.
Maintain payroll-related data and manage overall payroll workflow.
Ensure timely processing of new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
Analyze and audit payroll data for accuracy, including intercompany transactions.
Prepare payroll and benefits journal entries accurately and on schedule.
Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll applications.
Generate standard and ad hoc payroll reports.
Process garnishment payments.
Complete employment verifications and unemployment insurance requests.
Process U.S. payroll tax forms (940/941) and UK payroll tax forms (P45/P60).
Prepare year-end reporting, including W-2, W-2c, and P60 forms.
Develop financial and operational reports as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
3 5 years of experience as a Payroll Processor or in a similar payroll role.
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
Demonstrated ability to utilize payroll systems, tools, and procedures effectively.
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll regulations.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Ability to manage high-volume workloads while meeting strict deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting.
Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll and Time & Attendance.
Working knowledge of ADP iHCM.
Knowledge of UK employment and payroll tax laws.
Human Resources experience in Recruiting, Benefits, and Employee Relations is a plus.
