Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join the Core Data Platform team. This role will focus on designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and APIs while ensuring high-quality, reliable, and efficient data delivery across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for the Core Data platform
• Build and manage real-time streaming data pipelines
• Develop and maintain APIs (GraphQL) for downstream data consumption
• Work with technologies such as Airflow, Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Snowflake
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams
• Establish and enforce data engineering best practices (naming conventions, pipeline standards, etc.)
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and SLA adherence across all datasets
• Continuously improve platform performance and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with large-scale data pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark in production environments
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other MPP/cloud data platforms
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling expertise
• Experience building APIs using GraphQL
• Solid understanding of OLTP vs OLAP systems
• Experience in distributed data processing or data services engineering
