Active Directory & Citrix/Parallels Engineer (Data Center Migration & Cloud Consolidation)

We are seeking a highly experienced Active Directory & Citrix/Parallels Engineer to support enterprise data center migration, hybrid cloud VDI, and cloud consolidation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Active Directory, Citrix DaaS/CVAD, Parallels RAS, VMware, AWS, and enterprise infrastructure migrations.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Active Directory Administration and Citrix Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Data Center Migration and large-scale infrastructure modernization projects.
• Expertise in Citrix DaaS (AWS preferred), CVAD, Citrix Gateway, Citrix Netscaler, and Citrix Cloud Gateway.
• Extensive experience with CVAD On-Prem, including Provisioning Services (PVS).
• Experience administering Parallels RAS and Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.
• Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi, AWS EC2, virtual machine provisioning, image lifecycle management, and versioning.
• Experience with Active Directory, including:
• Domain Administration
• Organizational Units (OUs)
• Group Policy (GPO)
• DNS/DHCP
• Replication
• Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
• Experience integrating Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, or similar identity platforms.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, MFA, authentication policies, and enterprise security best practices.
• Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell for automation.
• Experience managing Gold Images across Citrix CVAD, Parallels RAS, and RDS environments.
• Experience implementing and supporting hybrid cloud VDI solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Citrix, VMware, Active Directory, and Windows infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Citrix Director, ControlUp, and Splunk.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and secure remote access solutions.
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning using PowerShell or Terraform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Active Directory migration activities during data center consolidation.
• Rebuild and migrate Citrix Cloud Gateway environments.
• Migrate virtual desktop workloads from on-premises infrastructure to AWS-hosted environments.
• Administer and optimize Citrix DaaS, CVAD, Parallels RAS, and VMware infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
• Provision and manage AWS EC2 instances supporting virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Manage VMware ESXi environments, virtual machine provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Implement enterprise security controls including MFA, RBAC, and compliance policies.
• Monitor and optimize VDI performance and user experience.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Create architecture documentation, migration runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams throughout migration and modernization projects.

Preferred Certifications:

• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V), CCE-V, or equivalent
• Parallels RAS Certification
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
