Service Desk TechnicianOn-Site | First ShiftPosition OverviewA Service Desk Technician is needed to provide first-level support for end-user technical issues in a large enterprise environment. This role handles phone, email, and chat inquiries, focusing on account support, troubleshooting common user issues, and following established procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service. The position offers strong long-term potential, including opportunities for extension, conversion, and advancement into other IT roles.

Shift & Work Environment- Monday-Friday, first shift (7 AM-4 PM or 8 AM-5 PM)
- On-site, five days per week
- Collaborative team environment with strong coaching and mentorship
Key Responsibilities- Provide frontline support for end-user issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Create, monitor, and update tickets within an IT service management platform.
- Troubleshoot common issues such as account lockouts and application access problems.
- Support ongoing directory and email migration activities, which may increase ticket volume.
- Follow established corporate policies, procedures, and escalation paths.
- Research and test solutions to technical issues as part of first-call resolution efforts.
- Escalate tickets to appropriate support groups when necessary.
- Provide follow-up to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Maintain a professional, patient, and customer-focused demeanor at all times.
Required Qualifications- Entry-level IT experience or prior service desk/help desk experience.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow structured procedures and guidelines.
- Familiarity with Windows-based environments and common productivity tools.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with account administration or directory services.
- Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems.
- Experience supporting productivity suites.
- ITIL knowledge or certification.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
