Job Title: Senior Python Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Work Arrangement: 5 day onsite
Client Industry: Banking - Fortune 500
Duration: 12-24 Months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated software developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with product owners and stakeholders to refine user stories and define technical requirements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable architecture components and ensuring the integrity and alignment of our systems with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine user stories and define technical requirements.
- Conduct technical spikes and proof-of-concepts to explore new ideas and mitigate implementation risks.
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-tested code to meet acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
- Design and implement scalable architecture components across data, application, and business layers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during development and integration phases.
- Build and maintain automated test suites including unit, integration, regression, and performance tests.
- Ensure architectural integrity and alignment with enterprise standards throughout the development lifecycle.
What We re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on Python Development.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
- Proficiency in coding and developing clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
- Experience with designing and implementing scalable architecture components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges effectively. - Familiarity with building and maintaining automated test suites. - Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with product owners and stakeholders.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65-$68 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
