Summary
We are looking for an Appian Certified Developer with to design and deploy business applications using Appian s low-code platform. Responsibilities include developing SAIL interfaces, integrating APIs, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficient delivery. Candidates should have a strong technical foundation, Agile experience, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Appian Developer Certification is strongly preferred.
NOTE: Vendor must verify Level 2 certification and provide a copy with the submitted resume.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build Appian applications using SAIL and Process Models
Develop integrations with external systems via APIs
Optimize UI performance and responsiveness
Write unit and integration tests
Collaborate with analysts and QA teams for validation
Requirements:
Appian or low-code platform development experience
Appian Level 2 Developer Certification
Agile methodology experience
Strong design, development, and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Education:
Bachelor s degree in information systems, engineering, computer science, or related technical field
Equivalent work experience may be substituted (high school diploma required)
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Agile methodology experience
8 Required Strong design, development, and analytical skills
8 Required Effective communication and teamwork abilities
3 Required Appian Level 2 Senior Developer Certification
3 Preferred 3 or more years of hands-on Appian or low-code platform development experience
2 Preferred GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite)
III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 03/02/2026 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2026. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1040 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
IV. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Department of Information Resources. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at 9500 Metric Blvd, Austin, TX. The working position is Telework.
