Remote SAP - Solution Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Remote SAP - Solution Architect. This role is responsible for managing production workflows, monitoring product movement, and ensuring alignment across production, inventory, shipping, and customer-facing functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiency and accuracy throughout the production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily production operations, including production line activities and workflow coordination
* Track and manage the flow of materials and finished goods through the production process
* Serve as a liaison between production, customers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
* Review and support outbound shipping processes, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
* Monitor and resolve billing-related issues tied to production or delivery discrepancies
* Analyze potential production and delivery outcomes to mitigate risk and improve performance
* Support the transition of products from production through shipping and final billing stages

Functional Scope:
* Production Planning: Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and scheduling
* Inventory & Logistics: Inventory management, stock movement, and outbound delivery coordination
* Billing Operations: Supporting billing triggers and ensuring accurate invoicing tied to production and delivery milestones

Work Schedule:
* Four-day workweek, 10 hours per day (Eastern Time)
* Fridays off

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* No certifications required, but considered a plus
* 10-15 years of experience preferred
* 8+ years of SAP experience required

Strong background in production operations, including:
* Manufacturing execution and production order management
* Quality control checkpoints and final acceptance processes
* Inventory movement and material tracking

Knowledge of:
* Customer sell-off processes and inspection documentation
* Product traceability and delivery readiness
* Handoff processes between production, logistics, and billing teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
