Mainframe infrastructure engineer
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid minimum 3 days onsite
Locations: Plano, TX; Jersey City, NJ; Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ
Mainframe z/VM + Linux + Python + AI agents + vulnerability remediation
The biggest screening requirement is the 10+ years of mainframe infrastructure engineering, combined with actual hands-on AI/agent automation experience.
Do not submit a conventional AI/Python engineer unless they also have substantial z/VM/mainframe experience. The z/VM requirement is likely to be the hardest part of this search.
