Job Description

We are seeking an Application Developer to join our core development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, Cassandra, Oracle, and containerization and a proven ability to design, build, and deploy scalable backend services in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Spring Boot.


• Implement data integrations with Oracle RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including Cassandra.


• Containerize services and manage deployments for existing and new APIs.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, Scrum, business, and architecture.


• Work closely with offshore teams to deliver project milestones.


• Report daily progress and participate in Agile ceremonies as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in Java application development with strong Core Java skills.


• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.


• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, ORM, MVC, Integration, Batch, and microservices.


• Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP web services with JSON/XML.


• Exposure to cloud platforms and related services.


• Proficiency with source control tools such as Bitbucket/Git or Subversion (SVN).


• Experience with Maven, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and JUnit.


• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra.


• Experience with at least one RDBMS such as Oracle or SQL Server.


• Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or MQ frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with container orchestration and deployment pipelines.


• Background in Agile/Scrum delivery with distributed teams.

Engagement Details

• Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite. Onsite from day 1.


• Start month: July. Interviews will be 1-2 rounds.


• Glider assessment with ID verification may be required.


• Hours per day: 8. Labor type: Technical.
