Strong Medicaid/MMIS domain experience (MMIS preferred)
Hands-on Java full stack development experience
Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and databases

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Medicaid/MMIS Technical Manager with strong Java full stack expertise to lead development and delivery of scalable healthcare solutions.

Lead design and development of Medicaid applications (claims, eligibility, enrollment)
Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams
Lead architecture, design and development using Java full stack technologies (Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular/React, REST APIs)
Drive hands-on development when needed, especially in critical components and solution design
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA, CMS)
Collaborate with business and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex issues
Lead Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and implement best practices
Ensure application scalability, security, and high availability
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern/AI technologies

Requirements

8-12 years of IT experience with technical leadership background
Strong Medicaid/MMIS domain experience (MMIS preferred)
Hands-on Java full stack development experience
Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and databases
Excellent communication and leadership skills
