Software Engineer III (Remote)

Job Description

Quest Diagnostics is looking for experienced and self-motivated IT professional for performing Software Engineering functions to support Infor's Cloverleaf Suite.

Responsibilities

• The primary focus will be design and development on Cloverleaf Suite of products.
• Work with Customers, end users and development partners to define and assess technical requirements and understand the current state of technology to define opportunities that create business value.
• Work with architects to define the technical architecture structure to ensure that the products and components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as required by the customer.
• Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments.
• Work with the third-party support team (on-shore and off-shore) and application support teams to educate and guide them for steady-state supporting Middleware related technologies.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years working in IT, as Middleware IT professional working with Infor's Cloverleaf Suite (Cloverleaf Interface Engine, Secure Courier, Global Monitor, Secure Web Services) or equivalent work experience required.
• Cloverleaf Level 3 certification or comparable experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, medical technology or related field or equivalent work experience

Preferred:

• Experience with Oracle or SQL based databases.
• Experience with TCL (Tool Command Language) preferred.
• Understanding of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes. and experience with Azure Cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience with tcp/ip sockets and ports, FTP, sFTP, and HL7 MLLP.
• Experience with SOAP and RestFul web services.
• Should have experience of working in Healthcare Industry (or similar) to understand the data security requirements like PCI/HIPPA/SOX/PHI etc.

Knowledge:

• Design, develop, and unit test Infor's Cloverleaf Suite of applications using agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug services using the Cloverleaf's tools and logs provided with the Cloverleaf Suite of products.
• Strong understanding and experience in various versions of HL7 v2.x, v3, xml and JSON structures.
• Should have experience in end-to-end monitoring of message tclproc's and xlates.
• Understanding of Firewalls to request firewall rules. Knowledge of F5 load balancers and DNS networking.

Skills:

Custom application software development using Cloverleaf Suite of products.
