Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Senior Applications Developer to join a team supporting Contact Center migration initiatives to Genesys Cloud.

The role is partial onsite (Tuesday–Thursday) and supports complex application development and cloud-based contact center solutions. 

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and development of advanced Genesys Cloud Architect workflows including IVR, digital routing, and NLU-driven call flows.

• Analyze, design, code, test, and implement complex application solutions aligned with business and IT strategies.

• Develop and support integrations using REST APIs, JSON, and service-based architectures.

• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Participate in and/or lead discovery sessions and design workshops.

• Produce high-quality technical documentation including FRDs, workflow diagrams, and integration specifications.

• Evaluate system interdependencies and assess impact of changes across platforms.

• Provide post-implementation support and lead system enhancements.

• Mentor junior developers and provide architectural guidance on assigned projects.

• Participate in some on-call and approved weekend work as needed.

What You’ll Need

• Application development or systems testing experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud (Architect flows, routing, integrations).

• Experience with JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.

• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON integrations.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Strong understanding of system design, SDLC, and integration methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to mentor junior team members and influence technical direction.
