Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer with 5-7 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, SQL, Python, Spark, modern data platforms, CI/CD, and data warehousing concepts.

5–7 years of experience in software solution development using Agile, DevOps, and Product Model methodologies for large-scale applications and data engineering solutions.
5–7 years of hands-on experience with SQL for data analytics, data modeling, query optimization, and reporting.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Event Hub, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Power Apps, and Power BI.
Proficient in Python, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and Unix Shell scripting for developing scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
Experience working with enterprise data platforms including Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Azure Data Explorer (ADX).
Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and Terraform for automated deployments and infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data lake architecture, data ingestion, transformation, processing, and optimization.
Experience with BI and analytics tools including Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Alteryx, Denodo, and Grafana for reporting and visualization.
Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Privacy tools including Informatica Axon, Informatica EDC, and BigID.
Azure Development or Azure Data Engineering certification is preferred, with expertise in Azure-native cloud services and enterprise data engineering best practices.
