Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Matillion to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines while supporting the expansion of an enterprise Data Vault architecture.
This role requires someone who can take full ownership of data workflows—from requirements gathering with business stakeholders to end-to-end pipeline development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion and Snowflake
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and translate them into technical solutions
- Enhance and expand the existing Data Vault model, ensuring scalability and performance
- Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts, Architects, and Business Teams
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, ensuring high availability and performance
- Document processes, workflows, and data models for maintainability and knowledge sharing
- Continuously improve pipeline efficiency and reduce latency
Required Skills (Primary)
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, performance tuning, optimization)
- Expertise in Matillion ETL/ELT tool
- Solid experience in building end-to-end data pipelines
- Strong SQL skills and data transformation expertise
