Summary

Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Work Location: Redwood City, CA (Onsite project)

Project Duration: 8-10 months with high possibilities of extension

The County seeks a qualified consultant to assess the existing IP address environment, develop comprehensive documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to County staff to ensure sustainable network management practices.

Objective:

The objective of this engagement is to:

Identify and document the County s existing IP address schema and network addressing structure.

Develop standardized documentation and procedures for IP address management.

Train County staff to maintain and administer the IP schema moving forward.

The consultant must demonstrate:

Minimum 5 years experience in enterprise network design and IP address management.

Expertise with TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, and IPAM systems.

Experience with network diagramming (Visio, or equivalent).

Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.

Experience with IP Address Management tools

Preferred certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
