Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent practical experience.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT with at least 5 years specifically in a DevSecOps, DevOps, or Cloud Security Engineering role.
• Proven hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing infrastructure and services within Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Extensive hands-on experience developing, configuring, and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Certifications:
• Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible for configuration management and application deployment.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (especially AWS EKS).
• Security Principles: Solid understanding of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Experience: Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., government, healthcare) and familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST.
