Job Description/ Responsibilities
Role Summary
Senior engineer supporting Western Digital enterprise storage, backup and recovery services.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer SAN/NAS/object storage and backup platforms
• Monitor capacity, performance, availability and backup jobs
• Resolve storage, zoning, volume and recovery failures
• Perform restores and validate recovery evidence
• Plan controlled expansions, lifecycle changes and automation
Skills & Qualifications

• Automation and ITSM

Certifications NetApp, Veritas NetBackup or Cohesity certification preferred
Grade expectation L2/L3 engineer; leads technical tasks and RCAs; mentors junior staff.
Common requirements Excellent English communication; client-facing collaboration; ITIL process discipline; willingness to support WD shifts/on-call; background verification and WD screening if required.
