Summary
Position: Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote No Exceptions)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Note: Local candidates preferred; relocation is not supported.
Position Overview: Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements
Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications and integrations
Lead design discussions and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders
Develop innovative solutions using Salesforce declarative and programmatic tools
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using Web Services APIs
Identify system gaps and architect end-state solutions
Create technical documentation and application specifications
Implement testing strategies and deployment processes
Collaborate closely with QA, project teams, and business stakeholders
Evaluate vendor tools and integration strategies
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a related technical field
7+ years of application development experience including requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
Strong experience in Salesforce, Force.com, Object-Oriented Programming, and Client-Server technologies
Salesforce Declarative Environment and Configuration experience (7+ years)
Salesforce Web Services APIs (SOAP, REST, Bulk API) 7+ years
Metadata API experience (5+ years preferred)
Agile development experience (5+ years)
Oracle database data retrieval experience
Salesforce dashboards and reporting experience
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to lead design sessions and deliver scalable solutions
Highly Desired Skills:
Salesforce Developer or Admin Certifications
Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JavaScript (5+ years)
Public Sector Foundation experience
Experience defining system landscapes and implementing end-to-end solutions
