Job Title: ETL Developer
Remote
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer to design, build, and maintain ETL workflows and SQL Server database solutions that support data migration, integration, and analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS/SSAS), along with a strong background in performance tuning, and enterprise-scale ETL development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract, transform, and load data between heterogeneous systems using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business logic and data processing.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and application teams to write T-SQL queries based on define data mappings, transformation rules, and integration strategies.
• Implement data quality checks, error handling, and logging within ETL processes.
• Optimize ETL pipelines and queries for high performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL job failures, SQL Server performance, or data integrity.
• Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, workflows, and database design.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and security standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ experience as a SQL Server Developer, Database Developer, or Database Engineer.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, partitioning).
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and related tools.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
