Computer Engineering or
Software Engineering Intern for cutting-edge engineering efforts within the
Maritime System Solutions (MSS) Portfolio of our
Maritime Systems Division (MSD). This role is an opportunity to contribute to innovation in
underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions that support critical defense and national security missions.
You'll work with a multidisciplinary team developing advanced maritime technologies, from
prototype design to
full-scale system deployment for ongoing Navy missions.

What You'll Do- Contribute to technical innovation and product improvements aligned with customer needs and mission goals.
- Assist with Firmware & Software development for microcontrollers and FPGAs
- Assist in development and execution of tests and test procedures
- An eagerness to accept more challenging assignments based upon your skills & experience
What You BringRequired Experience & Skills:- Enrolled in an accredited degree program for Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Completion of a freshman-level engineering curriculum
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively towards defined objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a SECRET clearance
- Commitment to complete and accurate documentation of designs, procedures, analyses, and test results as part of the engineering deliverable.
Preferred Experience:- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Completion of at least one undergraduate course related to a programming or scripting language
- Functional literacy of Linux operating systems and ability to use basic command line tools
- Familiarity with some of these scripting and programming languages: Python, Bash, MATLAB, SPICE, C/C++, VHDL, Verilog

Pay Range:Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
