Job Summary: At NFP, the Senior Designer is a key member of the Creative Team. They report to the Creative Director and produce polished, on-brand visual work across a wide range of marketing and communications materials. The role combines strong conceptual and critical thinking with precise execution to ensure all deliverables reflect our people-first identity and evolving design system. This position also supports branding and design needs for marketing initiatives by collaborating with team members to create and produce materials that build the NFP brand and support our broader marketing vision.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in layout, typography, visual storytelling, and digital design, along with a strong understanding of brand systems. They are comfortable managing multiple projects at once, collaborating with cross-functional partners and contributing to the continued growth of our visual identity. This role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring someone who can move seamlessly from big-picture ideas to detailed design refinement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a supporting member of the design team, a successful Senior Graphic Designer will:
- Strive for design and communications excellence across a wide range of digital and physical projects, including brochures, publications, presentations, flyers, invitations, email marketing, websites, web banners, landing pages, infographics, event graphics and logo or icon graphics
- Manage timelines, prioritize multiple assignments and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
- Implement, maintain and evolve brand standards to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to support broader creative and marketing initiatives
- Provide clear design rationale, accept feedback constructively and iterate quickly
- Apply strong attention to detail throughout concepting, design and production
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES: - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, with the ability to learn new tools quickly
- Ability to deliver effective design solutions across diverse touchpoints for multiple business lines
- Agile mindset and ability to adapt, shift priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to conduct research and perform image library searches, including basic photo retouching and color correction
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills
- UX/UI design experience
- Ability to work within a PC-based technology environment
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
BONUS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES: - Experience with corporate brand design programs and design systems
- Ability to design effective email and e-newsletter templates
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing
- Knowledge of responsive design
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) project management system
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor's or Associate degree in graphic/communication design or related field, or equivalent combination of professional work experience and technical training/certifications considered.
- 4-7 years or more of experience is preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $98,000.00. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
